Like the Gold Rush of the 1800s, organizations are moving their applications en masse to the new promise land of the cloud in hopes of finding IT simplicity, cost reductions and increased mobility for their disparate users.

But as many are realizing, that often means disparate environments that have to be managed separately—which can mean more time, effort and resources are needed to keep them all running smoothly.
Creating seamless experiences
In the quest to be more mobile-centric and user friendly, enterprises are creating more app variations than ever and delivering them from a variety of locations. But the benefits of deploying from the cloud—namely, sophisticated monitoring tools—don’t extend to those apps still being served up out of your datacenters. So if app issues are causing poor user experiences, limited IT visibility can make these issues seem like finding a needle in the haystack before those productive employees start to complain that they can’t get their work done.
Expanding flexibility
Lastly, are the challenges of scalability and performance as your business grows and expands. As workloads increase, do you have the resources to manage and deliver it all to a global user base?
